President Michelle Bachelet delivers her address
Chilean President Michelle Bachelet delivered the 12th Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture at the Cape Town City Hall on Women's Day, 9 August 2014. The theme for the lecture was "Building social cohesion through active citizenship".
It marked the second time that the Annual Lecture was held outside Johannesburg, following former Irish President Mary Robinson's address in the same venue in 2012.
