A poorly worded and badly designed letter has been brought to the attention of the Nelson Mandela Foundation, asking readers to provide their bank account details.
"I am pleased to inform you that the Office of the Humanitarian Right of Mandela Foundation in conjunction with United Nations has given approval for the payment and release of your long waited Lottery/ inheritance/ contract funds/payment also for reported SCAMMED VICTIMS which has been on hold," it reads.
Please be aware that this is a scam, and is in no way connected to the Nelson Mandela Foundation. Should you receive this letter (screen shot to the right), please ignore and delete.
UPDATE (30/03/2016):
The same fraudsters have begun circulating a PDF document via email, again stating that funds will be released to the reader should they provide their personal details. It includes a superimposed stamp mark on the bottom left. Please ignore and delete this email should you receive it.
