Bafana Bafana with Nelson Mandela
November 18, 2010 – The United States football team and Bafana Bafana today together paid a courtesy call on Nelson Mandela at his office in Houghton Johannesburg after Wednesday night’s Nelson Mandela Challenge in Cape Town.
The coach of the victorious US team, Bob Bradley presented Mr Mandela with a team shirt and told him. “It is an honour for us to be here today.”
The US team stopped by at Mr Mandela’s office en route to the airport for their flights home.
