Media Statement: Appointment of Trustees

The Nelson Mandela Foundation Board is delighted to announce the appointment of two new trustees, Ms Yolanda Cuba and Professor Themba Maseko. “Both are outstanding South Africans,” said Board Chairman Professor Njabulo Ndebele. “They will bring to the Board a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge.”
Ms Cuba is an MTN Group Vice President, with deep knowledge of telecommunications, financial services and fast-moving consumer goods. She brings sixteen years of experience serving on the Nelson Mandela Foundation’s Investment Committee.
Prof Maseko is Adjunct Professor and Director of Executive Education at the Wits School of Governance. He has vast experience of public administration, having served in senior positions in structures of the state over many years.
Ms Cuba and Prof Maseko join Prof Ndebele and fellow trustees Ms Nikiwe Bikitsha, Ms Alice Brown, Ms Judith February, Ms Maya Makanjee, Professor Tshilidzi Marwala, Mr Sello Moloko, former President Kgalema Motlanthe and Ms Futhi Mtoba.
