The Nelson Mandela Foundation, together with the Green Development Foundation invite you to the official announcement of all activities in marking September as Arbour Month.
As part of its initiative toward creating long-term, high impact solutions, the Nelson Mandela Foundation (NMF) in collaboration with its implementing partner, the Green Development Foundation (GDF), recognises the need to tackle the intersecting challenges of food insecurity and global climate change. Arbour Month, with its specific focus on tree planting, harnesses the month of September as a potential catalyst for promoting this objective. The two foundations are urging their partners in the private and public sectors to heed the President’s call to contribute to the planting of 10 million trees within five years.
