It has come to the attention of the Nelson Mandela Foundation that a new digital scam – sent via email – is doing the rounds.
The scam, which is sent from “Mrs Mary Lambert from the Nelson Mandela Charity Foundation”, invites the recipient of the e-mail to join the Nelson Mandela Foundation on a “Charity Project mission”.
The poorly worded e-mail reads as follows:
“Attn: From Nelson Mandela Charity Foundation
The Nelson Mandela foundation introduce this great opportunity to you.We choose to contact you based on the Charity Project mission that will be carry out in your country and other countries by helping the poor and disables, motherless home e.t.c. If you are interested in working with this organization. Reply and tell us more about yourself?
