The Nelson Mandela Foundation, Lead SA and the Soweto Gospel Choir have urged South Africans to attend an open inter-faith prayer service in honour of Madiba at the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory in Houghton, Johannesburg on Sunday, 8 December 2013.
The service forms part of the National Day of Prayer and Reflection for Madiba who passed away on Thursday evening (5 December).
We would like to give the opportunity to people of all faiths and beliefs to pay homage to this great statesman.
The Centre can accommodate 500 people seated and approximately 150 standing, while an overflow will also be possible on the premises.
