As part of the activities surrounding the commemoration of the first anniversary of Nelson Mandela’s passing the Proteas and the Springboks took each other on in the Nelson Mandela Legacy Cup T20 cricket match at Bidvest Wanderers on Friday evening, December 5. On hand to wish the players good luck was the Nelson Mandela Foundation’s CEO, Sello Hatang, Cricket South Africa CEO Haroon Lorgat, Minister of Sport and Recreation, Fikile Mbalula and Nelson Mandela Foundation Chairman, Professor Njabulo Ndebele.
