1969. South West Africa Affairs Amendment Act

This "enabled the government to apply any South African laws, including apartheid legislation, in South West Africa and to change any law when it was applied in South West Africa 'as they deem fit' ... [It] also provided for the transfer of the certain administrative powers from such South West African administration to the South African government, such as Black education" (Riley 1991: 107).
