The Nelson Mandela Foundation has taken note of the statement by South Africa’s Department of International Relations and Cooperation to the effect that a request for a visa to visit the country has been submitted by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and that the application “will be taken through normal due process”.
We look forward to being in attendance at the 14th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Cape Town together with His Holiness and other laureates.
