Dec 5, 2008 – The Nelson Mandela Foundation extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends and comrades of anti-apartheid stalwart Mike Terry, who passed away after a heart attack in London on Wednesday, December 3.
“Mike served as the executive secretary of the British Anti-Apartheid Movement for 19 years and played an extremely significant role in supporting the struggle against apartheid,” said Achmat Dangor, the chief executive of the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
“We remember his tireless work in the British Anti-Apartheid Movement and the unflinching solidarity he showed with the people of South Africa during our struggle for justice and freedom,” Dangor said.
